Message from Tamika, Founder of Whoosh There It Is™

Hello, I’m Tamika, the Founder and Owner of Whoosh There It Is™, and I’m honored to share with you the journey behind the creation of The Dignity Kit™.

It all started with an unforgettable experience during my brother’s graduation. It was Mother’s Day weekend, and the weather was unrelenting—pouring rain with only a portable outhouse as an option.

I found myself unable to walk far enough to reach a proper restroom and could not face the cramped, slippery porta-potty. I was terrified of falling, of not being able to reach myself, and of the judgment that might come due to my size.

So, I held it for five long hours until I was able to find a fast food restaurant. The physical pain was intense, but the emotional pain was far worse. I felt helpless, ashamed, and out of control of my own body.

That experience sparked a deep drive within me to create something that could help others facing similar challenges: The Dignity Kit™.

Had I had it back then, I would have been able to honor my body instead of harming it. Now, I carry The Dignity Kit™ everywhere I go, and I founded Whoosh There It Is™ to ensure others can carry one too.

Because every person deserves to feel clean, supported, and confident—regardless of their size or mobility.
